This is the Marking Guide for the Jack’s Kids course, a course based on the discussions between Jack (of beanstalk fame) and his two children about accounting and business for the side-businesses they set up, while still at school. They reflect the workings for the business of one of the children. This relatable course also includes Discussion Papers - recording the discussions Jack and his children have about their businesses, Examples - based on the business of Jack’s other child, and (of course) Answers.
Discussions cover starting up (includes brief business plan), accounting for start-up, growing capacity, accounting for growth, year-end jargon, and measuring progress (includes KPIs).
