I'm currently teaching 8th grade Spanish. I have taught all levels of Spanish, from kindergarten to high school, at various times in the past 17 years. I have a BA in Spanish and International Relations from Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, IL, and an MA in Spanish Language and Culture from the University of Salamanca in Salamanca, Spain. My shop includes all types of resources for Spanish and French, as well as materials for English Language Arts and ELL.

This worksheet contains the most common present tense irregular verbs, adverbs of frequency, and 17 sentences that include direct object pronouns. The direct object pronoun words are bolded to remind students that there is something special about the words. Sample verbs used are oír, poner, venir, ir, decir, hacer, traer, salir, dar, saber and conocer. Each different verb is grouped together with 5-7 different subjects so students get repetition of the same verb. There is a word bank containing 14 vocabulary words to assist students with their sentence translations. Note that several of the translations are phrases (most notably for the verb poner) to give students the necessary conjugation practice without introducing too many new vocabulary words.
