Spanish Winter Clothing 2 Emergent Readers - Ropa del Invierno - Warm up to winter with these winter clothing booklets! Each booklet contains 8 pages: the title page with 7 additional pages containing words for clothing worn in winter. One booklet contains text and images, the other contains text only so students can sketch and create their own versions of the booklets. Words included chaqueta, mitones, bufanda, botas, sueter, pantalon de nieve, and sombrero. Also included are suggestions for using the booklets and an assembly instruction page. Students first read and cut out the booklet that contains text and clip art images. They then sketch and create their own version using the text only template. The illustration version can be projected in class to present, review and practice pronunciation of the vocabulary. The text only version can be projected onto the Smart Board and students can draw pictures on the Smart Board that correspond to the text.
French Christmas Word Search Worksheet and Vocabulary - This Christmas word search contains 24 clues for common Christmas vocabulary words, plus 8 clip art images.
Included in the download:

3. Large font vocabulary list for presenting and practicing pronunciation as a class

Students must:

This is a good substitute teacher lesson. After students complete the puzzle, partners can use the vocabulary lists and quiz each other on the new vocabulary.

Sample commands are: Wipe your feet, brush your teeth, call your mom, etc. There are a variety of verbs including regular, irregular and reflexives. Spanish Thanksgiving Theme Numbers and Math Listening Activity - This Spanish numbers listening activity will hold the attention of your students as they make their way around the oval writing the Spanish numbers that you dictate! After all numbers are dictated, students quickly do the math to find the correct final answer based on the numbers that they heard and wrote. They will be anxious to raise their hands and share their results! You choose the numbers for the activity so it can be used for very basic numbers or large numbers, depending on what your focus is. This is a set of 24 - 8 1/2 x 11 classroom signs for gustar and irregular yo verbs. Irregular yo verbs included are:
saber, conocer, poner, decir, traer, caer, tener, venir, hacer, salir and oir.
Each has a sign with the Spanish and English meaning, a full conjugation in the present tense and a simple sentence illustrating its use.
Saber and conocer each also have 2 additional signs with sample sentences and there is one sign that has both verbs in Spanish with "to know". There's also a sign with a rhyme to help students remember the different uses of saber and conocer.
There are 6 signs for gustar. Examples are: one with a full conjugation with gusta and a sample sentence, one with a full conjugation with gustan and a sample sentence and one that includes gusta and gustan and clip art illustrating the differences.
Just print in color or on colored paper and you have a colorful, useful student reference for your classroom.
This is also a good presentation to show irregular yo verbs, saber vs conocer or gusta vs gustan.
