Each booklet contains 16 pages: the title page with 15 additional pages. Also included are suggestions for using the booklets and an assembly instruction page.
Students first cut, assemble and read the booklet that contains text and illustrations of words associated with the Super Bowl. Examples ball, team, coaches, referee, cheerleaders, stadium, etc. They then sketch and create their own version using the text only template.
The illustration version can be projected in class to present, review and practice pronunciation of the vocabulary words. The text only version can be projected onto the Smart Board and students can draw pictures on the Smart Board that correspond to the text.

Students practice agreement in number and gender with Spanish family and descriptive adjectives vocabulary. There are 15 translations such as "the tall brothers."

Each student mingles with a bingo grid and must find different classmates that can reply yes to the questions in each of the 16 boxes. Each box contains a question starting with ¿En el futuro...? plus a verb in the future tense. A sample question is: ¿En el futuro, trabajarás con niños? When a student replies yes to a question, the questioning student follows up by asking in Spanish for the student's signature. The goal is to be the first student to fill the entire bingo grid.
Verbs used include:
estudiar, viajar, vivir, ganar, tener, construir, correr, trabajar, plantar, escalar, comprar, aprender, escribir, jugar, tocar, and hacer
Also included is a follow up worksheet that requires students to:
1. Write a sentence for each of the 16 boxes in the grid. The student includes the name of the student that signed the box and must change the verb to the third person.
2. Provide the English meaning of each verb.
3. Write an appropriate Spanish infinitive under 6 images at the bottom of the paper.
This is a great back to school speaking review activity for students with prior Spanish experience.

Students sketch and color a minimum of 10 foods that they will take with them on a picnic. They then write the corresponding French words under the sketched items. This is a great activity for speaking practice because students enjoy presenting their creations to their classmates. It's also a fun activity at the end of the school year as students are thinking about summer activities and vacation, and great for summer school or camp.
There are 3 versions of the basket. Each includes a different spelling of picnic to allow you to choose based on your preference for your region. The 3 are:

3. Panier de pique-nique

Students love doing this project and eagerly present their creations to their classmates. This activity works well as a sub lesson!
