Minibeasts - Code Breaking (Pig Pen Code)
Professor Diggalot has discovered some ancient documents that belonged to the ‘Puggawigga’ people from long ago. He has been unable to decipher the mysterious code that these texts are written in, so he has written to you to ask if you can help him. Are you up for the challenge?
Interesting, fun facts about 22 different minibeasts are written in code and displayed on ancient parchment paper. (Plain black and white copy is also included)

Speaking / Talking resource - 'Talk Time' game for oral language development.
A great activity that supports oral language development.
Toss a coin and then roll a dice to find a topic to talk about.
Talk to a buddy, small group or whole class.
Can you talk continuously for 30 seconds without pausing or saying ummm, ahhhh, etc?
6 charts with 12 topics on each card (72 topics altogether)
1 chart with 12 topics that are broader (suitable for less able students).

A blank template is also provided so you and your students can make up your own game.

Roll - A - Story (roll a dice to select character, setting and problem)
Nine roll-a-story cards for your students to use during their writing lessons. Roll a dice 3 times to get a character, setting and problem.
Fun and engaging and suitable for many levels.
Examples of characters: noisy burglar, adventurous astronaut, impatient prison guard, crazy aunt, fearless soldier, intelligent prince ...
