A resource to support the Edexcel Photosynthesis core practical. Used as a revision tool during a core practical workshop but could be used alongside teaching during the topic. It is a ‘prompt sheet’ of questions that pupils historically misunderstand or get incorrect during exams. I have trialled it with my Year 11 groups this year and they were very positive about it. We had equipment out to remind them of the set up/demoed they method and then they worked through in groups, extended by a few past exam questions.

A set of differentiated exam questions on Starch Testing of Leaves for SB6a of the Edexcel Single Biology GCSE course. Three sections of difficulty - Grades 4-5, Grades 6-7 and Grades 8+. I’ve trialled these with my students and the overarching feedback is it was very useful sectioned like this as they could see how the skills/questions on this content built in terms of difficulty. I hope you find them as useful as my students did.

A resource made for my lower ability classes to highlight/emphasise the impact of both temperature and pH on Enzyme Action. Pupils filled in the descriptions using the diagrams as guidance. Answers are included for pupil self or peer assessment. Content compatible with AQA/OCR or other specifications.
