My name is Olapeju Okungbowa. I have a Master of Science with Distinction in Education for Sustainability from London South Bank University. I am a Cambridge Certified Teacher of English, IELTS Preparation Specialist, and a Certified National Geographic Educator. I diversified into teaching from broadcast journalism and I have taught a range of students from preschool to adult education (onsite and offline). In this time, I have developed several different strategies to capture my students’ attention and share with them my passion for learning. My teaching mission is to promote an atmosphere of mutual respect and intercultural understanding in my classroom by providing opportunities for every child’s voice to be heard, instilling a sense of agency and a consciousness that their 'little' impact can make a big difference in the world.
