Working Scientifically Word Search
This resource contains a word search puzzle (with answer key) for the ‘Working Scientifically’ science unit. It uses key vocabulary words from the unit.
This activity is differentiated and students can complete the word search according to their ability. The three variations include:
A traditional ‘find the word’ word search.
A word search that only has the definitions of the words to find.
A word search that only has the definitions of the words to find with the first letter of the word.
Science vocabulary is the key to learning science content. This activity helps students to remember definitions to important key vocabulary words so that they truly understand the unit.
There are 31 words to find which will take about 20-30 minutes to complete. The words in this set are:
