This is a list of 28 questions with various stages of difficulty, allowing learners to stop if they feel it is too difficult. It allows stronger learners to continue to work through the more difficult questions. It is aimed at adults, with real life maths situations being used.

This is a great starter activity or a good ice-breaker for a new class. Answers are included, but two would need to be adjusted if and when facts change. It is good to put a time limit on this one, but also to allow learners to search some of the answers on the computer or their phones.
