About
The Royal Institution (Ri) is an independent charity dedicated to connecting people to the world of science. The diverse Ri education programme now attracts over 40,000 students a year to its science demonstration lectures, maths and engineering masterclasses and creative workshops in the L’Oréal Young Scientist Centre. The famous Christmas Lectures, which are broadcast on the BBC annually, are the Ri’s flagship event for young people reaching an audience of millions. The recently launched Ri Channel is the “Smart Place for Science Videos”. Bringing together the very best science videos from across the web, the online Channel also features highlights of the Ri’s public event programme, the digitised archive of televised Christmas Lectures and a range of bespoke science series by the Ri: www.richannel.org
