NEW Kung Fu Panda (Po) Movie Character Describe Character Booklet Description Creative Writing A4! Attached is a PowerPoint and PDF version of the character booklet for the above character. There is also a separate A4 colouring page which can be used for a classroom display along with the character profiles. Below is a summary of what is included in the booklet:- Page One Front cover page. Children can colour in the bubble writing and there is a space for the children to write their name. When complete I ringbind these booklets and they make great English table displays. Page Two Features page: the children are to think of the following things about their character and write these in the boxes surrounding the character: The character’s likes The character’s dislikes The character’s feelings The character’s friends The character’s family The character’s hopes The character’s fears The character’s house The character’s hobbies The character’s past The character’s present The character’s future The character’s problems The character’s solutions Page Three Children to now list of features for the character to help write their character profile. Ask them to focus largely on the features that they have found already and to use powerful adjectives. Page Four Children are to write down some things that the character might say and think. Page Five Children are to describe the character’s physical appearance of the character. Page Six Children can either use this page to colour in the character or thy can write down describing words inside the image, using powerful adjectives. Feel free to edit the PowerPoint with your own questions and features if you wish, and of course feel free to delete / add pages at your leisure to make a booklet that works best for your class(es) Thanks for looking at my resources, I really appreciate your interest and your 5 star reviews.

HARRY POTTER STORY DICE TO CREATE YOUR VERY OWN STORY! 3D Cube Nets Dice to Roll, FUN English Game

HARRY POTTER STORY DICE TO CREATE YOUR VERY OWN STORY! 3D Cube Nets Dice to Roll, FUN English Game. These are brilliant, especially if a student is struggling to think of his/her own ideas for a Harry Potter themed story… They simply have to roll the five dice at once! Dice One will give them their characters Hogwarts House: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and 2 x ‘Choose Your Own’ Squares. Dice Two will give them a main setting out of: Hogswarts, Hogsmeade, Privet Drive, Quidditch Pitch, Forbidden Forest or Azkaban Prison. Dice Three will give them their main character out of: Harry, Hermione, Ron, Dumbledore, Luna or Neville. Dice Four will give them their main bad character out of: Draco, Lucious, Voldemort, Snape, Filch or Dolores. Dice Five will give them their main problem out of: An attack from: A Snake, a 3 Headed Dog, A Dragon, A Troll, The Whomping Willow or Hundreds of Spiders. Dice Six is a blank cube template for students to create their own characters, settings or problems… but they could also create dice for things like solutions, villains and endings etc. This is a FANTASTIC CREATIVE WRITING task that my students loved and I used in an outstanding Ofsted observed lesson. Please check my other items, I have other English dice themed activities.

Alphabet Letters Laminated Mats, Letter A - E Playdough, writing, reading EYFS, Early Years KS1 NEW I have attached the alphabet mat for the letter A - E. Students have 6 different tasks to complete for each letter as follows: Trace the dotted letters with a pencil carefully. Create the letters using playdough (if not using playdoug they can colour instead). Find the upper and lower case versions of the letter. Colour in the images that begin with this letter. Read the words to another pupil / adult who then ticks the words. Finally, they must write the upper and lower case versions of the letter to complete the story! This is a great resource that keeps the children engaged for a long time. Once they finish they can get the next letter (I will be adding letters F-Z if this resources is popular - please download and review it for this reason). Not sure if this is the right resource? - then download my FREE letter A version first to check it! Thanks for looking!
