I devised a pro forma for my AS class to try and plan out their answers to previous questions in the SCLY1 exam as part of revision. This pro forma was to try and help them understand the different types of question involved and answers required in the essay questions.

Revision lesson resources for the news and moral panics section of the media unit.

I used the Napier press textbook by Webb et al to create round of questions on each topic. I award points per question and then a prize for winning team of each round. Bonus questions are separate and whichever team gets closest to the bonus question wins a separate prize. Picture round is open to interpretation and you can award points for the most relevant concept students attach to each picture!

Introduction to Sociology- Lesson and resources. This bundle contains a PowerPoint lesson and video clips. It is designed to be an introduction to students who have not studied Sociology before and could be used as an intro to GCSE Sociology, Year 9/10 taster courses or A level/VCE Sociology type classes. The lesson contains information on the way Sociology differs from Biology and Psychology, The Sociological Imagination, Norms and Values, Socialisation including the agents of socialisation.
