Novel Study pack created using North Lanarkshire Literacy Reading Strategies. Different comprehension activties for each chapter.

North Lanarkshire Active Literacy Stage 1 initial sounds grids with and 4 letters words linked to corresponding pictures. Use this for consolidationg learning on initial sounds. The grids are repeated twice; once without the words and once with words. This allows children to word independently forming the words and then assess their own work.

A Cross Curricular Pack to deal with the issues of prejudice, conflict, migration and sectarianism. Aimed at second level primary 7 stage. For use with Divided City Novel by Theresa Breslin.

Reading pack for pupil use with read to write activities and comprehension questions.

For use with North Lanarkshire Active Literacy Phonics scheme. These are a set of homework worksheets which tie in with the weekly sounds. I photocopied them double sided and half sized to make a homework booklet that will last all year. (The first few revision weeks have been modified slightly to give fewer sounds but otherwise it follows the weekly planner in the NL pack).
