I'm an experienced English teacher, AQA English Language examiner and sociolinguistics and literature fanatic. On a Saturday morning I am most likely to be found drinking tea from a Barbara Pym mug while enjoying my latest read. I studied for my BA at Leeds before heading to Liverpool to study an MA in Women's Writing and then later on, after a period of working for a reading charity, I undertook my PGCE. I live in Merseyside with my husband and two young children.
