Simple introduction / revision of the 4 main maths operations (times, divide, add and subtract). I have used this with KS3 and KS4 SEN pupils to check understanding or to revise.
I used this for revision for my class. The items sold in the shop are a bit silly/childish because that’s what my class likes but they could quickly and easily be changed with find and replace if you don’t like them.
An introduction to coordinates through a buried treasure game. Once the island is drawn and the treasure buried students can play a battleships style coordinates game to find each others treasure or could design questions about their island for peers to answer.
Worksheet to practice half, whole and quarter with practical colouring (or cooking) activity.
I used this with a small SEN class and made the pizzas following the instructions and whilst they were cooking coloured the recipe sheet with the ingredients covering the correct fractions but you could use it only for colouring the correct fractions.
Worksheet on Symmetry on a Halloween pumpkin theme. Draw identical shapes, patterns or designs either side of the mirror line to create a symmetrical pattern.
