Food Miles video
Made this fun 4:32min video for my Yr9 class when I taught KS3 Geography - they LOVED it! Don’t know if it will be any good to anyone. Would be an amazing project for a class if they had time!
ABOUT THE VIDEO:
Follows the journey of BANANAS from the original source to our home town in County Fermanagh (1st half of the video)
Pupils photographed foods from home and found the food miles from the source to our local home town (1st half of the video)
****I do not own any credits of the music or foreign banana clips…etc.

Three end of unit assessment tests included in this resources for high, middle and lower bands. Each banded test comes with its complimentary revision list, which can be seen in the photos.
High band test is suitable for a pupils in a grammar pathway / streamed class. Lower band test is suitable for children with some learning difficulties.
These end of unit assessment tests are most suited for KS3 pupils.

This ‘Who wants to be a millionaire’ quiz can be adopted into any topic in any subject (by the way, the questions are easily changed). The children love this and it is a great way to assess their learning too! Happy teaching!
