This bundle has been created for the new GCSE Edexcel 9-1 Breadth Study - Migrants in Britain. It contains the first 4 lessons for key topic 1 - Medieval Britain. Causes of migration. Each lesson examines the causes of a different group of migrants coming to England in the medieval period. They contain a variety of activities and relevant clip to aid learning. Each lesson includes the opportunity to start mastering the different examination question types through modeling and sharing criterion.

This workbook contains 36 key Cold War events, and has been created to help students answer questions asking them why events are importance.
2 short paragraphs have been written for each event explaining a reason why it is important. Lower prior attaining students aiming for levels 4/5 need to learn them and write another reason as a third paragraph. Higher attaining students need to extend the reasons, and then add another detailed one of their own.

This breadth study focuses on the governments of Henry VII’s personal government to Henry VIII’s reliance on his ministers.
It is mainly focused around interpretations of history as required by the A Level specification; is complete with resources and takes about 8/10 hours to teach. It also allows students to open with a debate on how far Henry VII had consolidate his power after Bosworth to link previous learning (lessons available.)
Key focus: Was there a revolution in government?
These resources have been created to teach the Presidency of Eisenhower at A Level. They have been produced for the AQA American Dream Unit but can be used for any course on post war America.
They involve detailed source analysis and pay particularly close attention to Eisenhower’s foreign policy as detailed on the specification. It would take about 10 lessons to deliver the work contained in these resources.
This bundle contains everything needed to teach the Presidency of JFK at A level. It is fully resourced with varied activities and examination practice. It is suitable for any A level board but was specifically made for the American Dream Unit on the AQA board.

An assembly/lesson - the first part of the ppt is an assembly containing images/clips/explanations about the significance of VE day and the aftermath of the war (approx 20 mins). If it is used as a lesson there are tasks incorporated in the 2nd part of the presentation to support building on writing evaluative answers (in this case weighing up the consequences of the aftermath of the Second World War). The lesson will take approximately an hour to teach, but students may need time to complete the work for homework.
A VE Day Quiz and discussion opportunity - useful for a tutorial or a history lesson. The quiz is on a ppt - so can be delivered to the whole class at the samr time - it is followed up with a discussion about VE Day.
VE Day timeline - this timeline contains 20 key events of 1945 leading to victory in Europe. Each event is on a separate sheet and contains an explanation and a colourful image - will need space for 20 sheets of A4 to go around the classroom.
