This resource contains 4 wordsearches and quizzes.
Students have to answer 15 x 4 quiz questions based on each of:
The Medieval Period
The Early Modern Period
The Industrial Period
The Modern Era
They then have to locate the answers in a wordsearch.
I use these as starters and plenaries for GCSE students and as revision tools.
This walking talking mock takes 2 hours to teach. Each question is modeled and students are given a set amount of time to complete each question on an EDEXCEL exam paper. Modeled questions all come from past examination papers.
Yu will need to print an EDEXCEL past paper for students to complete throught the 2 hours (I always use June 2018). Modeled answers are accompanied by step by step instructions.
This wordsearch tests student recall of key facts about the modern era crime, punishment and policing and is useful as a starter/plenary or end of term fun revision activity for students studying ccrime, punishment and policing at GCSE. Students have to find the answers to 15 questions and then locate the words in a wordsearch.
