It includes readings; videos and essay writing plans and activities. This display/activity can be put on a wall and when pupils have completed their work they can try the challenges. Good for transition time, Useful for corridor display too - my students try to work out the answers while they are waiting to come into the lesson There are 4 challenges: Odd one out Heads and Tails Who am I? Which era? The display is colourful and can be changed keeping the same lettering. The challenges span a range of historical events/people/periods etc and can be recreated many times.

One hundred questions in 60 minutes. This quiz can be done individually; in pairs or in groups depending on the size of the A Level class. It enables students to revise the content of the Year 12 course through competition, and is fun as an end of term activity. I often give prizes to the students who score the highest, although I have never had a 100% success yet!!! The questions are challenging and require 1 word/one sentence answers. Answers are included for self-assessment. This resource assesses and consolidates student knowledge while they are having fun.
