Super Power Relations Consequence Revision Cards for Low and Middle PA and exam question practice

(0)
I made these card for students at GCSE who really struggle with the volume of knowledge required. Using them I found that students who fell below the level 4 threshold made much better progress in the 2019 examination series (Edexcel). The cards address 36 Cold War events, and students learn the events by linking two consequences to the event. The events are in red; the consequence in blue; and an extension green card for those students who are able to attain level 5+ with sensible revision. They can also learn the story of the Cold War by sequencing the cards chronologically. I used the cards for paired activities; home revision and starter activities. Just cut out and laminate.

Students will be looking for more evidence to suggest whether or not there was a mid-Tudor crisis. Students will learn about: The causes of the Kett and Western Rebellions The extent to which they posed a danger to Edward VI Duration: This is a long lesson and will probably require 2 hours to teach it, plus an hour of home learning to complete all of the activities. It can be used for all examination boards and is designed so that any examination board approved text book can be used to complete the activities.
