This bundle contains 6 displays for the history classroom suitable for primary and secondary school students.
Display 1 contains key features of Anglo-Saxon life with images and descriptions.
Display 2 contains images and descriptions of a key person for each week of the academic year - these can be blown up; laminated and changed each week for the benefit of the whole school
Display 3 contains an image of an important person in history with key information for every day of the academic year. This display can be changed each day for the benefit of the whole school.
Display 4 Victory in Europe Day timeline which traces the events in chronological order that led to the defeat of Nazi Germany and is suitable for VE Day celebrations (other resources for VE day also available)
Display 5 Match pictures and events; put them in chronological order and create a detailed timeline of the Cold War events. Would need a large notice board for this display. Lettering also included.
Display 6 A challenge wall display for pupils to have fun and work out some historical problems.

A LEVEL - HENRY VII'S GOVERNMENT AND DEBATE ON HOW FAR HE WAS ABLE TO CONSOLIDATE POWER
These A Level lessons start with a debate opportunity following on from previous lessons (also available) on how well Henry VII consolidated his power after his victory at Bosworth. This enables students to consider different interpretations of history and provides assessment opportunities.
They then look at the structure of Henry VII’s government and consider the key features of the personal government that he ran - this can be used to argue that he was the last Medieval King.

This is a two part A Level series of lessons created for AQA unit 2Q The American Dream, but suitable for any post 16 study of the USA.
The first part focuses on Eisenhower’s policy in the Middle East, and is a continuation of the series of lessons on Eisenhower’s foreign policy.
The second part considers Eisenhower’s reactions to civil rights issues during his presidency.
This includes all of the resources and source materials to teach this part of the specification.
PERSON OF THE WEEK DISPLAY
This resource contains display material which can be changed weekly throughout the academic year. It is titled ‘PERSON OF THE WEEK’ and contains a photograph and information about a significant person in history for each week of the academic year (excluding holidays). This material can be blown up to A3; laminated and used again and again.

These lessons cover the whole section on Eisenhower’s foreign policy for the AQA A Level Unit 2Q The American Dream. They are accompanied by the full set of reource materials needed for the lessons. These lessons were created for A level history unit 1C on the AQA board, however are useful for any post 16 study of the Tudors.
They give the students the opportunity to examine humanism and the Renaissance period, and continue with an in depth look into the dissolution of the monasteries with a focus on the findings in various monasteries around the country.
Students have the opportunities to research and make judgments on various interpretations of history.
A LEVEL - SOCIETY; REBELLION AND THE IMPACT OF RELIGIOUS CHANGE IN THE REIGN OF HENRY VIII
These lessons have been created for unit 1C of the AQA History A Level. but are suitable for any post 16 tudor course.
They start by looking at the structure of society in the reign of Henry VIII, followed by a focus on the key rebellions and their causes. The last part of the power point considers the social and economic impact that religious upheaval had on England and English society.
This covers about 5 hours of learning.

These lessons were created for AQA history A Level unit 1C, however can be used for any post 16 study of the Tudors.
There are about 5 or 6x 1 hour lessons included in this power point, and they provide the opportunity for historical investigation into the three distinct periods of Henry VIII’s foreign policy and his attempts to secure the succession. It contains a variety of teacher led and student led learning opportunities culminating in a judgment regarding the success of Henry VIII’s foreign policy.
A LEVEL - THE ELTON THESIS
This lesson was created for AQA Unit 1C A level history but can be used for any post 16 study of the Tudors.
It invlves the evaluation of Thomas Cromwell with particular reference to the Elton Thesis. It provides A Level students with the opportunity to carry out extended reading activities, and to evaluate various historical interpretations and challenges to the Elton Thesis.
