The lessons focus on close reading techniques so students show independent understanding of what they have read compared to the gist when usually studying non-fiction. There are 15 lessons/powerpoints (some will take more than 1 lesson) Topics: Boys reading Strictly scandal Plastic waste Travel writing x 2 A guide on sleep A piece on unhealthy high streets Veganism Film review- The Meg Article on American politics Further education Extracts from This is Going to Hurt Iceland Christmas Advert Organ donation David Attenborough
