Factual information on the Aboriginal people of Australia with an example of how to create a drawing, painting or print of your school or where you live, pupils draw symbols from aerial view based on their environment. This has been such a successful project for many pupils over the years. pupils create a press print then apply dots and lines with chalk pens to decorate.

This is such a successful project that pupils really enjoy. Can be an individual project or pupils can create a 3D sculpture in groups. Within this resource there is brief information on various artists that are inspired by sweets and comfort food. Key words and examples of pupils work including sculpture work and materials needed. Photographs of sweets if pupils would rather complete a painting and a list of the elements of Art used.

Aboriginal Art project. A brief introduction, templates provided which can be printed off for pupils to copy from. Final piece could be a painting or a ceramic piece. This is a very successful project which pupils enjoy.

This is an excellent way to support pupils when writing about artists work at KS3 & KS4. Content, form, mood and process are broken down into key words to aid when discussing work. An example is also provided based on the ‘weeping woman’ by Picasso.

A really fun way to encourage pupils to complete their homework. Pupils are to select the homework they want to complete from the chilli pepper menu, where the tasks are of different challenges. The hotter the spice the harder the homework, the more the reward! Tried and tested and is very successful with KS3 pupils. I have attached a blank template and an example that I created based on Aboriginal art.

A very exciting Art project based on the Austrian artist Hundertwasser. Very creative where students create a final outcome in felt. This project is very unique and enjoyed by students of all ages. 4 pages included in ppt presentation.
