Victorian Literature
A series of lessons that look at extracts from Charles Dickens' novels: Oliver Twist and Great Expectations. There is an assessment looking at an extract from 'Wuthering Heights.' This is aimed at a top set Year 9 group and begins preparing them for the 19th century texts they will study at GCSE.
My Last Duchess
A selection of six Power Points and resources on 'My Last Duchess' suitable for KS3.
A Gatsby Party
A one off lesson looking at one of Gatsby's parties. Resources are all included. Suited towards KS3.

A SOW tailored towards the new AQA specification for examination in 2017.
Romeo and Juliet
A range of different resources for ‘Romeo and Juliet.’ The PowerPoints cover the old AQA specification coursework component and the WJEC Literature coursework component. The focuses are Romeo’s strong feelings and love.

AQA Spoken Language Endorsement
For the Spoken Language Endorsement for submission in 2017. I am in the process of creating a series of lessons that use topics from the new GCSE Literature specification. The lessons look at 'Porphyria's Lover' and Victorian context. Lesson One refers to videos available via AQA's website, under secure key materials.
There are 6 lessons that fully prepare the girls for the Spoken Language Endorsement. After the six lessons, students should prepare their presentation and complete their presentation outline form for submission. I have attached a marking form that we will be using when we watch their performances.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
A SOW based on the play script. It has been created for a top set Year 8 group who have challenging targets. I will be adding lessons each week.
