This is a maths game on a Smartboard slide adaptable for Yrs 3-6. It is quick to play and teach, but could equally be the basis for a full lesson. The twist is that you get to be ‘nasty’ to your opponent so that they lose and you win. It can be played as a whole class, with a group or as a pair. It develops understanding of place value, greater than and less than. It can be adapted to allow access to less confident mathematicians and also to challenge the more able.
