A memory game where students try to remember the location of word pairs (collocations), definitions or meanings.
It is a great tool for retrieval of vocabulary, concepts, or chunks of language.
Procedure
Divide the class into pairs or teams.
Each group takes a turn and the other students should be paying attention to the location of the pairs.
If the students find the pairs, leave uncovered and award points. If they are wrong, cover the cards and the next students go.
Enjoy!
