Shading Venn Diagrams Scaffold for Set Notation
I made this resource to help scaffold the thinking of my students who struggle with visualising set notation involving unions and intersections, specifically my KS3 students.
It is designed to scaffold the thinking skills required to complete questions such as “shade in the region A’ U B” and led into questions based on finding P(A’ U B) in the next lesson.
Answers are included.

Also included are sheets with 2 reds and 2 ambers so they can be printed back to back, with the green and extension projected on the board.
Circle Theorems Monsters Inc. Differentiated Top Trumps
These are differentiated top trump cards based on monsters inc. They have all of the circle theorems for GCSE maths but they are split for difficulty. Red (easiest) - Amber - Green - Blue (Hardest).
I have included the publisher file as I like to change the number on the back of the cards so that I can easily see which cards match with each set.
The template is based on one I saw a while ago but I cannot remember exactly who's its from. Please let me know if it is yours!

Graph Sketching Discussion Venn Diagram
Students are to think of a graph that would fit in all the regions of the Venn diagram.
Three categories are:
1. Graphs with only 1 stationary point
2. Graphs with a maximum
3. Graphs that go through the point (0,1)
This is really useful as a discussion activity for where graphs cross the axes and for differentiation.
A sample set of answers is included.
Venn Diagram Notation Connect the Dots
Connect the dots for Venn Diagrams. Students have to read the two Venn diagrams and find the value of the regions. They then connect the question number to the answer of the question. At the bottom is a scaffold for students to follow. Answers are included.
