These resources are intended to support children with the sequencing style questions encountered in the KS1 SATs tests.
There are 6 original stories that the children read and then number the sentences to place them in the correct order. These questions are often ones that cause the children difficulty so these sheets will allow them to practice this skill in a fun way.
These activities are designed to provide evidence for Teacher Assessment of the KS1 Reading Curriculum.
Resouces provide an activity for some objective on the Teacher Assessment Framework where evidence needs to be provided. These are Working At - 7 and Greater Depth 1, 2 and 3.
There are 3 variations for each objective to enable a number of pieces of evidence to be collected.
All are labelled to make record keeping easier. There is a record sheet which teachers can complete but also give a fun element for children to colour upon completion.
These sheets provide a great evidence log for moderation and the children love working on their ‘log jobs’.
All stories are original and feature situations that the children will be able to relate to, enabling them to successfully draw inferences from the text or predict what might happen next.
These resources link perfectly with my TAF Evidence Sheets for KS1 Maths.
These activities are intended to be used as morning work.
They require the children to use the basic skills covered in the Place Value and Addition and Subtraction Units of the Year 2 maths curriculum.
There are 7 mats - one per week for a half term. Also included are printable certificates to reward beating a previous weeks score or for getting all correct. There is also an editable record sheet intended to make patterns in lack of understanding more obvious.
Finally, links to the National Curriculum learning objectives are given for each of the questions.
These grids enable children to practice the spelling of the common exception words required by the end of Year 2. There are 6 grids in total.
The words have been grouped to reflect similar letter patterns or phonic sound.
Word copies are included to enable editing of font to fit with schools handwriting policies.
As well as the daily grids, a set of spelling lists is included to send home.
UPDATED for 2018-2019 - ALL EVIDENCE SHEETS MATCHED TO NEW FRAMEWORK
These activities are design to provide evidence for Teacher Assessment of the KS1 Maths Curriculum.
Each objective on the Teacher Assessment Framework has an activity, in line with exemplar materials provided by the DfE, that the children can complete to prove their abilities.
There are 3 variations of each activity to enable children who are unsuccessful the first time they complete the work to revisit using different numbers. These are marked by a different character in each corner of the sheet. If tasks have been recommended, then there is also a task card that can be printed (colour or black and white) for the children to work through and a record sheet to accompany it.

These sheets provide a great evidence log for moderation and the children love working on their ‘log jobs’. External moderators commented it was the fastest moderation they had done as all evidence was easy to see!
Sheets are bright, colourful and feature high quality clip arts to ensure children are engaged with the activities.

For Moving up/transition day. Print the sheets onto card double sided. Children then draw a picture of where they are going or what they are doing in the summer holidays. Included is a letter to parents explaining the activity. A ready to use activity for that busy end of term period!
These activities are intended to be used as morning work.
Children use mini-whiteboards or morning books to write words they find.
