This presentation includes a variety of activities and fun games! Describing appearance could have never been easier! It is divided into two parts (one hour each). Part 1 focuses on learning the new vocabulary using different skills. It ends with a Guess Who game! Part 2 focuses on reviewing the vocabulary using speaking, reading & writing tasks. I added a Math problem, too! Students love challenges! Plus, it was made for distance learning! Note: These slides were designed to be used with kids between 9 and twelve years old. The language used here is not hard, but it might be too difficult for younger children. I suggest you review the new vocabulary many times so your children learn it effectively! Since it’s new for them, there are also many activities where they can use it :) *Activities included: TITLE 1 “Appearance: Presentation” General Appearance, age & build Grammar: What do/does … look like? - To be + adjective Describing skin, eyes, hair & extra features Grammar: What do/does … look like? - To have + feature Who is who? Fill in the description poster Guess Who game TITTLE 2 “Appearance: Practice” Complete the sentences Reading: My new friend Speaking time Problem-solving Writing: What does … look like? Game: Find a person or character that… Final message End The slides are really easy to use and there are some open-ended activities as well. It might take up to 2 h to finish the presentation, but your students will have a lot of fun. You can divide the class as you wish :) The pictures are not mine but I used them to create something that could add value to your lessons :) One more thing… Please, leave a review and tell me if your students liked it! I would love to hear if they enjoyed the presentation as much as my children. I am also open to suggestions so please leave a comment :) I thank you from the bottom of my heart in advance <3 Remember that: Every child can learn, but it’s our job to make it happen. Don’t miss the opportunity to make the world a little bit better each day. <3 Sending love <3 FAQ What does the ZIP file include? It includes the presentation and a document with instructions and the Google Slides link :) Do I need to prepare extra material for the lesson if I use this presentation? I made this presentation just to be ready to open and teach! Does the lesson start in soon? I’ve got you covered! Just download the file, open it short before (I suggest you check the activities before so the class runs smoothly), and teach! Can I use this presentation to teach teenagers or adults? The slides can also be used for them, but it would be nice to prepare extra activities so they don’t feel “too childish” (some activities might be too easy). Just be creative :) Thank you!

Body & Face Monster-themed Presentation

I love using monsters to teach parts of the body and face! I wanted to create a complete monster-themed presentation and here you are! I used many different and interesting activities that my students enjoyed very much (also added a detective activity because mystery gets them so focused). There is a lot of visual content :) The slides are really easy to use and there are some open-ended activities as well. It might take up to 1 hour to finish the presentation, but your students will have a lot of fun.
