A selection of starter slides with 5 questions each and a 5 minute timer, designed to revisit old content and improve knowledge recall for GCSE Business students.
These slides are all specifically based on theme 1 and are a selection of the wider range of starter slides I have available to purchase for each of the sub-sections, and soon to include theme 2. They are fully editable should you want to cut and rearrange the order of questions, or mix and match them with any other starter questions.
Answers are animated to allow time for teachers to expand and give additional detail. Specific attention and duplication has been given to questions that are often harder to remember or are systematic misconceptions in the exam - although this may not be apparent from this free edition
TRIAL of starter questions and answer activity
(full sections available for purchase at £3 each, or bundle of all plus more for £12)
5 question and knowledge recall starter sliders or quizzes with 5 minute timer for students to view. Great way to start lessons, or use as a revision tool later in the year.
An increasingly important tool for the classroom as the demand for knowledge increases
A short 13 minute video to introduce the Boston Matrix to GCSE or A Level Business students.
Defiines market growth and market share as the basis for the matrix, before explaining the quadrants within and how this may impact finances and marketing activity.
T Level tracker of tiny content area - not intended for sale singularly.

Technology and Business Worksheet
1.5 External Business
GCSE 9-1
A fully editable worksheet for individual or group work to understand the benefits and costs associated with technology investment in a business.
Scenarios used to support analytical skills, across a range of business types.
Glossary included for support and reminders of linked key terms.
Exam practice section at the end covering 2, 3, 6 and 9 mark responses.
This tracking document for the new T Level in Management and Administration, specifically for Core Content 1. Business Context. It has been designed to be used in two different ways - although is fully editable so you can adapt it for your own needs.
It can be used by individual students to track and monitor their own progress against the learning outcomes and knowledge they must have for core area 1. Business Context. At regular intervals, students would be encouraged and given time to reflect on their learning (to date) and RAG rate their own levels of confidence; Green - secure, Amber - in progress, Red - priority revision areas/areas of difficulty.
The other way this resource could be used is as evidence of formative assessment either through; mini-tests, knowledge quizzes, starter questions, or student conversation. Having data on the performance of a whole cohort will identify areas to return to for revision to support and secure learning in areas that show up as less embedded.
A3 break even revision sheet, differentiated and progressively harder to allow students to chose to work from their own starting point. Good for consolidating lessons, revision or as a teaching document.
Includes exam questions upto ‘discuss’ level
Included are a couple of planing sheets that I use for new A level students and for all students at GCSE.
They are particularly helpful for supporting students of lower ability and can be used with sentence starters where necessary to offer an additional layer of support for students when practicing their exam skills.
A really useful tool for planning and to boost confidence.
Cash flow revision sheet A3
Simple activity for intervention or revision, designed to allow students to access regardless of level. Starts with A01 and reminders about definition and key formula through to a supported cash flow gap fill. Independent gap fill and MCQ examples, finishing with higher level questioning and long answers based on cash flow from previous exam papers for high end practice.
