Powerpoint presentation for parents on the teaching of Numbers and Patterns in the Early Years and Year 1.
Covering counting, ordering, adding, subtracting, patterns, recognition and partitioning
Two levels of grids: one with halves, thirds, quarters, fifths, sixths, eighths, ninths and tenths. The second grid also includes hundredths and thousandths.
Designed as a display material, but could be blanked out for completion by pupils in lessons or as homework.
Pet cards and skin texture boards. Children to sort the cards onto the correct board, depending on which skin type they have. Can provoke discussion around why animals have certain skins (temperature regulation, protection, sensory needs). Could also introduce camouflage.

PowerPoint to model the use of Numicon when subtracting a single digit number from 10. Animated to model placing a Numicon tile on top of the 10 tile and leave the difference.
A sheet for children to complete all about maths concepts related to them (number of letters in name, number of boys/girls in family, house number etc)
Cards contain either squares, circles, triangles, crosses or stars and also a numeral 1-13. The dealer deals 6 cards to each player, putting the rest in the centre and turning the first card over. The aim of the game is to lose all your cards by following the suit or the same numeral. If you do not have either, you have to pick up a card from the centre pile. Joker 'WHOT&' cards are placed down so you change to a new suit. When a player has no cards left, the game ends and scores are added up. The score of any left over star cards are doubled; a WHOT card left over will score 20.
Board game with addition and subtraction sums to answer to 'complete the mile'. Game cards attached for mini sports challenges. 3 differentiated boards - +1/-1, +2/-2 and a high ability using numerals 1-9 addition and subtraction sums.

Board game based on Trivial Pursuit. 4 players and 4 subject areas (Geography, Maths, Fun and History). Most questions themed around Brazil and the 2014 World Cup, but some based on older tournaments and general football knowledge.
Lots of scope for tailoring questions to different age/abilities.
A fire-fighter themed board game with subtraction question cards to answer. The object of the game is to race to put out the fire and get back to the fire station.
Images of the Euro footballs as the pictogram object. The posters have been designed to print A6 size. Pictogram to update daily to show results of goals scored during the tournament.
Designed to be printed on A4 or A3 and laminated. Inspired by Singapore Maths part-part-whole idea to teach addition and subtraction number bonds. Could also use for multiplication and division.
Simple 4x4 grids with columns labelled A to D and rows labelled 1 to 4.
Images of superheroes, 2D shapes, dinosaurs and Mickey Mouse characters to find the grid co-ordinates for.

PowerPoint to visually help children to use a 100 square to partition a 2-digit number into tens and units to add on. Plenary included for solving a word problem using the RUCSAC method.
