My class developed a love of Winnie the Witch and so I created these plans to fuel their learning. I was finding that my children were struggling with the concept of the phonics booklets for the year 1 test. I therefore created a set of 8 booklets for the children to use as practice for the real thing! They have loved the booklets and enjoyed challenging themselves as there are some tricky words in there. I have also included in some of them year 1 common exception words.

My class loved this book and we achieved 6 fantastic weeks of learning! They loved the fact that we didn't read the whole book and it took 4 weeks to do this! It opened up a fantastic amount of learning and the book allowed for lots of SPaG work.
