A great lesson filler. Get your learners to design their own Pride flag. The worksheet includes details of the current LGBT Pride flag and encourages learners to create their own.

2X tasks complete with answer sheets. This can be a primary / secondary school activity. Learners are asked to match the flag with the correct sexuality / gender identity. You can extend this activity by asking your learners to look up the meaning of each word.

Pride month themed Taboo game. The objective of the game is for students to have their team member guess the word that is on the board behind them. They can’t say the word itself and in some circumstances, other words that are listed in relation to this word. Complete with instructions on how to play the game as a class and 35 separate Taboo slides. Slides contain LGBT celebrities, terms and other things associated with Pride.

Get your learners to create their own Pride themed word search. **Instructions: ** The learner will think of 12 words that are associated with Pride. They will write these words in the grid boxes and on the lines below the grid. Following this, the learner will then fill the remaining grid boxes with random letters of the alphabet. Get your learners to swap their completed word search with a peer, who will then complete it.

An English Reading Comprehension Activity. This resource gives the learner an overview of the inspirational Media TV Personality Caitlyn Jenner. Learners will be asked to answer 6 skimming and scanning questions based on the document. They will also be asked to look up 4 key words from the document. Answers are provided so that learners can self mark.

A fun game! When the Teacher says “Go,” the learners fill in the blanks with words that begin with the same letter. When they have finished they will shout “Pride!” Each answer is worth one point!

Get your learners to create their own Pride emoji. This can be a good introduction to Pride month as you can discuss the colours used on the emoji’s face and what they represent. These are the same colours used in the Pride flag. My learners created their own emojis to put on our ‘Theme of the Month’ wall display: Pride Month.

Pride Bingo Game. The bingo sheet contains symbols associated with Pride. Cut out the squares on the grid sheet and place inside a container. Give each player a bingo card ( this is a 5 player game). This is a twenty-four paged booklet that I designed for adult learners who were completing a Level 1 City and Guilds Employability/ Personal Social Skills Course. This booklet is for the ‘Equality and Diversity’ module. All the questions meet the qualification criteria. As a tutor you can either go through the booklet page by page, using it as the base for your lesson plan or give the learners the book as a research project. They can add things in such as their hobbies, family, friends, pets, favourite books, TV shows, football teams or future goals.
