Hello! Thanks for viewing my shop. I've been teaching now for over 10 years and was a teaching assistant before that. I'm currently teaching Year 3/4 but have taught in EYFS, Year 1 and 2, & Yr 6. I've worn many hats during my teaching career and I'm now deputy head of a small but ever growing successful first school!
I love creating resources that can be used to capture and engage the children in my class that allow them to really enjoy their learning. Please get in touch and leave feedback!

This resource can be used to measure angles and identify them.
You can use it in many ways.
Cut them out and stick them in the children’s books.
Cut them out and use them on tables and as a carousel activity. I’ve used them on tables and placed post it notes and cups with each angle. The children measure/name and then write answers on post its and pop them into the cups.
I hope that you find this resource useful.
Many thanks
This interactive whiteboard game is fab! Boys and girls love it. I use this to test children's reading skills and use it to model sounding out words. The children must come up and drag car to the correct word. The children can also play in pairs and challenge one another. I have made 3 versions and one maths version using Numicon. Feel free to edit the slides to suit your classes needs.
Many thanks.
It's taken me a while to pull this all together and I apologies because it's not entirely finished.
However, I felt that I needed to get it out there for others to use.
The book includes 40 plus ideas to use in your class and hopefully gives you ideas to extend and enhance the games.
Please leave feedback. One day I hope to finish and get it possibly published ( a pipe dream maybe but who knows).
Many thanks
Here are 4 differentiated worksheets with halves and quarters. Each page has 4 questions.
2 worksheets include questions that involve the children having to explain their reasoning.
Please feel free to edit.
I hope that these games/activities help making Phonics screening revision easier and more fun.
This resource includes game templates that you can edit.
Stop the crabs and read the words. The crabs move across the screen.
Matching games
Flick the billiard ball into the correct pocket.
Feel free to edit and make suitable for your pupil's needs.
Thanks
The children must try and solve which numbers are covered up to get the correct answer.
Some questions have more than one way of making the answer.
There are two worksheets with 6 q's on each.
Many thanks
Hi, thanks for viewing these resources.
Here are two presentations using concrete and abstract ques for you to demonstrate subtraction/addition or to allow the children to physically make amounts on board.
The worksheet consists of over 15 greater depth q's and focus on extending your higher ability.
Feel free to adapt these resources to suit the needs of your class.
Many thanks and I hope they are useful.
Hi,
This resource includes 1 Interactive Whiteboard presentation and a word document which includes WILF and challenge labels.
I've made the sentences Christmas themed and I hope you and your class find them useful.
I've also included some other Maths multiplication lesson presentations (with scribbles!) just because it's Christmas.
Many thanks
This resource includes 10 questions, some open ended with low floor high ceiling questions. You might just want to use one or two of the questions as a main and make them practical. The IWB presentation includes some of the types of q's from worksheet. They have a mastery feel and allow the children to use their reasoning skills.
The IWB includes some ordering activities, sorting and array making activities.
I hope you and your children find this resource useful.
Many thanks
I hope that you find this resource useful. I have differentiated it 3 ways. Even for the lower abilities I’ve included some questioning that will ask them to reason and explain their thinking, as showing greater depth can be included for all to try.
Many thanks
I use this resource in my class to remind my Year 3/4 children of my expectations during any writing task. They are great for quickly showing differentiation or just for reminding the children of what is expected of them . I love using the ‘check your writing’ bookmark as it gives the children a check list of what to look for!
This resource includes:
3 differentiated writing book marks (ranging from Year 4 expected, Year 3/4 developing and E.O.Y 2 expectations for my lowers).
1 bookmark to remind how to use speech in writing.
1 bookmark to remind children of what to check in their writing.
I have included the word doc so you can add/takeaway criteria.
I hope these are useful and help your children with their writing.
Many thanks.
Hi,
This resource focuses on multiplication, area and perimeter and allows the children to use reasoning and problem solving skills to solve two investigations. The investigations focus on the 9 and 8 times tables.
Investigation 1:
Santa wants a new floor design for his grotto 10m x 10m and a new floor design for his ballroom 20 m x 20 m (for higher attainers)
Investigation 2:
Santa would like to know how many presents fit in each room. Children have to work together to solve.
There is a short task to solve the presents area and perimeter which involves the 9 and 8 x tables.
Feel free to edit this resource to suit the needs of your class. For example, you could change the multiplication, area size to 5 x 5 or change the grotto to the sleigh. Also you could change the actual measurement to cm and get children to draw in books.
I am going to get children to cut areas from spare grids and place on until they have a final version. I’m also going to set my highers off with the challenge of only using calculations to solve first.
Hope your class enjoy it and have an awesome Christmas!
Hi,
This resource includes a smart board and powerpoint presentation of poetry activities and ideas.
The smart board includes hyperlinks to help with moving through the slides.
Each slide is presented in a way that is friendly and bright to capture your pupils imaginations and attention!
There are 37 slides.Many including a poetry idea/activity.
I am a big believer in deepening my pupil’s vocabulary and hope that each slide achieves the same with your own class. I have placed an emphasis on vocab and have used this as discussion points.
I hope that you find this resource useful and that your children’s writing shines!
Thanks
This advent calender is great to add a bit of fun to problem solving and reasoning. It covers subtraction, addition, multiplication and division.
Simply click on each window on the calender and a problem for that day appears.
There are 23 problems.
Many have the answers and structures to model the answer.
I hope that this resource challenges your pupils. Feel free to adapt each problem to suit the needs of your class.
**The aim is to improve pupils scores over the year and parents/teachers are encouraged to either record time or score to see if the child can better themselves each time.
I also use these in class as revision aids or for quick games like make a column or row v a partner. Recently, I’ve started quizzing my class at the end of the week on the colour that they are on in the style of a Maths Bee! A bit like a spelling bee but obviously with Maths facts! The children love it!**
I also use these as homework activities every week! That means there are 23 weeks worth of Mental Maths Homework with this resources
This is set 3 and covers curriculum areas in Years 3 and 4
Included in this resource is set 3 of challenges that I send home to parents to help increase my pupil’s mental maths abilities and readiness for any impending Multiplication test at the end of Year 4!
The pdf is a thorough guide on how to use and gives yourself and the parents suggestions on how to use and adaptations to try at home.
There are 23 challenges with 13-15 questions for each challenge.
Each challenge/colour set is broken down into 3 abilities. 1 star 2 stars and 3 stars.
I really hope that these help support and further your class. Any feedback would be welcome as I’m currently trying to create other sets for Reception to Year 2.
Many thanks
Need to show Greater depth in Maths across Year 2? Then this resource is the perfect way to achieve it!
This resource includes 5 worksheets plus answers. In total there are 98 questions in total.
Included in download are both pdf and word documents for :
**WALT: I can subtract two digit numbers within 100
WALT: Finding missing numbers - Explaining and estimating
WALT: Recall multiplication facts for 2,5 and 10.
WALT: Find missing numbers - varied fluency **
This resource sets out to challenge and stretch the higher ability children in Year 2. However, it can be used in KS2 (Y3/4/5).
You could use this resource and allow children to independently work on each challenge or choose one and work on it as a whole class.
Use the Q’s as a starter or plenary task.
I hope that you and your children in your class find these useful.
****This resource is 100% editable! This resource contains 14 weeks of activities. Each day includes 4 questions and builds upon prior knowledge - each week coincides with the White Rose Maths hub scheme of learning for place value, addition and subtraction. This resource will help your children build upon skills previously covered and allows them to practice and embed key Maths concepts/skills.
Included are 14 worksheets with 5 days worth of activity on each week with 4 Qs a day. 20 qs a week so that’s 280 questions!
The concept of revisiting prior learning is becoming more and more crucial to helping children attain and cement key skills. It’s a great way to achieve mastery and it’s proving to be a huge success within my class.
I keep them in a wallet and the children complete each day either in the morning during registration or when we get a minute! My colleague uses them and sticks them in her maths books in concertina style and the children unfold them when completing the correct day. I encourage my class to draw calculations, use resources, discuss concepts with one another.
I hope that this is really useful to you and would appreciate any feedback/reviews.
Thanks for purchasing!
Here are two game boards with word cards for the alternative ee and ir sounds.
The word files are editable to allow you to add your own.
Thank you for purchasing this game, I hope your class loved it as much as mine did!
This resource includes one pdf with 16 questions and a word version so you can edit to suit the needs of your class.
These questions are designed to get your children thinking and show that they are working at a greater depth in Geometry.
I hope that your class find these useful and that they help you to gather the necessary evidence needed to show greater depth and mastery of angles.
Many thanks
