This workbook contains an array of activities to do with both KS3/4 - Junior Cert and KS5 - Leaving Cert pupils. Each activity can be used individually or the booklet can be used over a series of lessons (A lovely break from the normal lesson format!) My students love this time of the year and it's nice to see them excited about lessons. Simple display cards to get your room and your students in the festive Irish spirit. My students love St. Patrick's Day and the display is nice when surrounded by students work. Alternatively use the activity attached also. I use these as a game first to introduce the vocabulary to my students. They are placed around my room and students are given a list of St. Patrick's Day vocabulary in English. They then have to find the Spanish equivalent. It's nice to watch students discover the vocabulary themselves as opposed to looking at a PowerPoint and writing everything down in a vocabulary book. Once the lesson is finished they can go onto a display board. Please note this is a .pdf only

The following booklet contains four translation activities based on the new Spanish GCSE AQA Spec Paper 4 (Higher Tier). These are ideal to use after you have completed a topic or for revision purposes. I have included two booklets. One with just the translation as you would sit in an exam and the second is includes a brief word word bank for each translation to aid students.

I use this resource as a revision for my KS4 groups. It is a simple PowerPoint that states the rules of the Conditional Tense in Spanish. With the PowerPoint I have attached a booklet to aid with the lesson. The booklet contains the following: - 4 activities that students can complete in lesson or as homework / revision. (Fill in the gaps x 2, translate sentence and write a paragraph) - A notes sheet on the formation of the tense - A notes sheet on the most common irregular verbs. This is a lesson I used for the first time this year and it worked really well with all my groups. (I had 6!) Included in the lesson are fact finding tasks, opportunities for student to highlight their prior knowledge and a questionnaire to endeavor to discover how students like to learn in lessons. This also asks students some information about the themselves that I use to build a rapport as the year progresses. It is a nice introduction to Spanish and you can do the lesson on computers OR as I have it laid out as a fact finding task.
