1 hour, detailed and well differentiated lesson about why PSHE is such an important subject and how it contributes to the all-round success in life of every student - ideal for KS4 as a recap or introduction. The lesson focuses what the three main aspects of PSHE education are (RSE, Living in the Wider World and Health and Wellbeing) before examining a number of case studies where young adults’ lives could have been transformed had they paid attention in their PSHE lessons.
It includes a detailed PowerPoint, worksheets, differentiated activities, clip and literacy focus and debate tasks. It could be used either for KS3 or KS4, but was created with KS4 mostly in mind (to remind them why the subject is so important, despite them also studying for exams). Everything is editable. 2 HOURS - a new lesson all about menstrual, gynaecological, reproductive health and fertility. Students will explore the factors that can lead to a decrease in fertility, in both males and females, before exploring the options for those trying to conceive. Students will investigate common reproductive issues such as polycystic ovary syndrome and endometriosis. They will also discover how common lifestyle factors such as obesity and smoking can be tackled in an aim to improve fertility levels, as well as common treatments medical available in the UK.
Students will complete analysis tasks, literacy tasks, creative tasks, clip tasks and much more.

Accidents and emergencies KS1 PSHE lesson.
A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 2, however, the activities may also be suitable for younger KS2 children (Year 3).
In this lesson, the students will learn how to respond to an emergency. We will discuss how to determine if it is appropriate to call the emergency services. Then, the students will carry out a role play activity where they will have the opportunity to practise making a pretend call to the emergency services.
The lesson includes a case study starter, a video clip with questions, a role play activity and a debate plenary task.
Created to fit the new DfE and PSHE Association statutory 2020 /21 guidelines, the lesson includes a detailed PowerPoint, all editable with accompanying tasks and worksheets.

A Medical Ethics Unit lasting 12 hours (one lesson is a double) that was created for Year 9 RE, but could easily be used for a capable Year 8 or none-GCSE KS4 group.
Each lesson is very detailed, editable and differentiated three ways with colour-coded challenge tasks for every activity. The lessons are very easy to follow as all the instructions are on the PowerPoints and worksheets. Each of the individual lessons have had excellent reviews so far.
The unit includes:
What are the religious and ethical views on abortion? A lesson exploring the pro-choice and pro-life debate and introducing the concept of sanctity and quality of life.
What are the religious and ethical views on euthanasia? A lesson examining the quality vs sanctity of life debate in detail while examining types of euthanasia and religious views on these.
Stem Cell Research - an investigation into embryology and the controversial issues surrounding the science. The lesson investigates how scripture can be applied to these issues and why there is so much debate.
