Halloween - SMSC Activity

Hello, This is a resource I have created to send to all tutor groups in our school and sixth form college. It is designed as a 15 minute activity during the SMSC slot in our week. The activity covers the origins of Halloween in Britain, how it is celebrated today, questions to check understanding and then a discussion task around British Values. I hope you find this useful :) Thanks, Melissa

Manchester Terror Attack and Radicalisation - SMSC

Hello, I have created this PPT to be used during mentor/form time. It allows students to have a safe space to discuss what happened in Manchester and to question how this could happen. It then leads to a clip from the BBC interviewing a man who is becoming de-radicalised, discussion questions and then signs to spot. Final question gets students to think about British Values. I hope you find this useful, Mel
