WJEC/ Eduqas 2016 SPEC- Theme 2- Assessed TEST

(1)
This is the assessment used to test pupil understanding of this unit of work. It uses a wide range of different exam questions to cover all aspects of the course… BUT I DOESN’T COVER EVERYTHING- just like the exam it will only cover a few topics. The mark-scheme is included and is done/ set out very similarly the ones published by the exam board. I have also attached a feedback sheet (The template of the table came from Mrs Humanities). Any feedback will be great JPMathsandGeography

This is the eighteenth lesson in the second theme of the new WJEC/ Eduqas 2016 specification for geography. This lesson looks at Cardiff as a global city. As Cardiff is a fairly local example, the information on the slides is just what the students need to know for the exam. The lesson like the others also contains exam practise. There is an attached assessed homework which can be started in the lesson and finished off as homework. The mark scheme is also attached. Any feedback on this lesson would be a great help as they will help to improve future lessons that I upload. JPMathsandGeography

The following revision guide covers everything that pupils would need to know for the theme 3 topic. In this revision guide, it gives exam tips, definitions that they may need to know, chapter review questions to test pupils understanding of the chapter and attached at the back of the booklet is past exam questions on the unit. This booklet, however, doesn't cover any case studies as I know personally different schools cover different things.

This lesson is the first lesson that I taught for the river's section of Theme 1 of the new WJEC Geography GCSE course. This lesson pack includes the starter worksheet that looks at the key terms that the students need to know for the drainage basin section of the lesson. Worksheets for the hydrological sections. The powerpoint that runs through what they need to know about the drainage basin and hydrological cycle. This lesson can be done in 58 minutes if stick fully to the timings outlined in the lesson plan, but we all know this can be hard to do, so this lesson can be split up into 2- where the first lesson would then look at the drainage basin and the second lesson would look at the hydrological cycle. WJEC/WJEC Eduqas Spec A-Geog your Memory... WEEK 4 - Content and skills based questions (Paper 1&2)

(0)
Adapted revision and exam practise sheets from amysearle83. This is week 4 of the new skills and content based questions that will help to refine pupils exam technique and help to identify any gaps in their knowledge for the new WJEC/ WJEC Eduqas Specification A course. Most of the questions will either be from past papers, exam practise questions from the revision guide or questions from other sources. I will over the next forthcoming weeks upload multiple sheets that will cover both paper 1 and paper 2, these will hopefully help your pupils in getting to grip with the basics of the exam NB: A source list is at the end of each sheet to help you find the markscheme for each question. Any feedback would be great! JPMathsandGeography
