For AQA Psychology. Full lesson (powerpoints and activities) for the ISSUES IN DIAGNOSIS of Schizophrenia. It includes the powerpoint, a notes sheet which runs alongside the powerpoint (which students take notes into and includes imbedded activity on Rosenhan), a cut and stick exercise on culture bias.
This is designed to last about 1-2 hours of lesson time.
AQA Psychology Full lesson for neural explanations (prefrontal cortex and amygdala damage in violent offenders) from the forensic topic.
Includes ppt with video links and suggested articles for reading. Fun tests the students can do to see their tendency toward being a “psychopath” in their thinking.

This is a revision lesson on correlations, questionnaires and interviews. It is designed for second years, having already covered it in detail in the first year.
It includes a ppt and a notes sheet with activities throughout to check learning. The students complete the notes sheet as we work through the ppt so they have some bits to fill in and activities to complete.

This is a range of exam question from short answer to shorter essay (10 marks). It includes about 40 marks worth of questions. Students can be given all of them or just some of them. I used them to create two different tests for 2 different classes.
This is a set of over 100 revision cards - great for independent or pair learning.
The cards have a question on the front and an answer on the back so students can test themselves or split the pack in half and ask each other alternately. They need to be printed doubled sided (or stuck back to back.

This is a set of the Research Methods Key Terms for the Year 1 AQA A level Psychology course. BRILLIANT FOR REVISION ACTIVITIES. I have included 6 suggestions (and instructions) for how the cards can be used.
My advice is if you have multiple sets of the same cards print each set on a different colour card so if you find a random word around your room you can quickly identify which set it belongs to!

Also includes a powerpoint of 67 key terms from the new spec Forensic module. Perfect for students to do the hot seat revision activity. Have one student sat at the front (back to the key term) and their team has 45 seconds to describe the word on the board to the student. I split them into teams and then give each team in turn 45 seconds to get as many as they can. You can mix it up by having a member from each team at the front and then you describe the word to see who gets it first.

Need an unseen mock for your students?! This is a complete made up paper 2 mock for the new spec 2015 AQA Psychology.
The questions for Approaches and Biopsychology have been made up so there is no mark scheme but there are sample answers and a ppt to go through after the mock to demonstrate key errors. The Research methods questions were adapted from an old AQA question.
This is a set of approx. 80 revision cards with questions and answers for students studying AQA Biospychology (year 1 and year 2 content). It includes the first year biopsychology cards from the AS approaches and biopsychology revision cards and then new ones added for second year content.
They can be used independently or in pairs, alternating answering and asking questions. They should be printed double sided or stuck onto the back of each other.
I have uploaded sets for the all of the first year modules as well (and some other second year modules).
