his is a set of the Social Influence Key Terms for the Year 1 AQA A level Psychology course. BRILLIANT FOR REVISION ACTIVITIES. I have included 6 suggestions (and instructions) for how the cards can be used.
My advice is if you have multiple sets of the same cards print each set on a different colour card so if you find a random word around your room you can quickly identify which set it belongs to!
Activity explanations include:
Articulate
Pictionary
Key word hunt
Bingo
Sort Out
You say we pay
Two fun revision activities with students to ensure they read exam questions correctly and follow instructions.
1: Give all the students a chocolate (Cadburys heros work well) and they have to complete the sheet describing, evaluating, comparing their chocolate.
2: Students will need a blank sheet of paper for this. This is a fun activity to do with a group to ensure they read instructions. Students will complete a series of instructions which are pointless but it says to read all instructions first. If they do read them they will know only to complete one or two of them but most dont do this and end up completing all of them.
Full lesson powerpoint and activities for Lateralisation and Sperry’s study. I get the students to complete the notes sheet while working through the powerpoint. They then complete the evaluation using the pink haired girl text book.
Numerous video links throughout the powerpoint.

Designed for AQA it includes presentation and acitivities.
This includes:
-A large booklet of activities to complete on most, if not all, aspects of AQA Psychology research methods
-A teacher presentation which is linked to the booklet for research methods.
-A set of 140 revision cards which have short questions and answers on them
-A set of Key Term cards
Includes, key term cards, key term question sheet, summary sheets and odd one out activity.
Also includes a powerpoint of 67 key terms from the new spec Forensic module. Perfect for students to do the hot seat revision activity. Have one student sat at the front (back to the key term) and their team has 45 seconds to describe the word on the board to the student. I split them into teams and then give each team in turn 45 seconds to get as many as they can. You can mix it up by having a member from each team at the front and then you describe the word to see who gets it first.
Check out my revision ppt for forensic - covering the whole topic in short. Or a bundle of forensic resources - perfect for revision.
This is a set of 48 revision cards on SCHIZOPHRENIA. They were designed for AQA new spec (2015).
They have questions on one side and answers on the back - so perfect for independent revision or testing in pairs.
I also have sets for both first year and second year topics and they can bought as a bundle for a discount.
Year 2 topics included:
Biopsychology
Issues & Debates
The Approaches
Research Methods
Schizophrenia

Gender
It includes over 450 revision cards!
They have questions on the front and answers on the back if they are printed double sided. Perfect for independent or pair revision.
Similar bundle available for all first year topics and all cards can be purchased separately if you prefer.
Need an unseen mock for your students?! This is a complete made up paper 2 mock for the new spec 2015 AQA Psychology.
The questions for Approaches and Biopsychology have been made up so there is no mark scheme but there are sample answers and a ppt to go through after the mock to demonstrate key errors. The Research methods questions were adapted from an old AQA question.
