Lesson introduces the Edexcel B course before focussing on the learning objective.
Starts with an activity on solar isolation and moves on to the basics of air pressure and the global circulation model before moving on to Ocean currents. All workseets included and a recap homework task with some skills focus.

Lesson begins by recapping global conservation techniques in a grid, sort activity. It then recaps the difference between national and global scale before showing a clip of the JUMA rain forest reserve and requiring a case study card to be filled out. discussion around the term ‘sustainable’ and the elements making this work.Shift then moves to Kilum-ljim and works on describing exam skills. pupils end by working on an in depth case study using the Edexcel panther book for support. Practice 4 mark question to finish.

Lesson recaps the characteristics of India before focusing on ‘globalisation’. Key term acivities to help pupils define Import and Export before practicing source description skills. Growth and projection graphs for India accompanied by success criteria. Followed by proportionate mapping activity and resources. In addition the causes for growth are touched upon and supportd by imagery and clip relating to ‘containerisation’. Complete the tweet to finish
Lesson revises some of the key terms of the topic so far using ‘Dingbats’. It covers the new GCSE requirements for map skills on a variety of scales, locating and considering social, political, cultural and environmenta factors of India. SWOT analysis included along with comparison to the UK.
