Component 2: transactional writing and reading a non-fiction text from the 21st and 19th century. All PowerPoints have amazing images, exemplar materials and 10/10 answers. Most PowerPoints come with a lecturer podcast on the topic (link provided in resources). All writing types cover a model answer, stylistic features and sentence starters. All reading questions have a separate PowerPoint, model answer and specific tips. Reading fiction: A 66 slide PowerPoint on how to get a grade 9 on the GCSE English Language based on the summer 2017 exam paper. The resource also includes a Word document giving grade 9 examples on Q1-Q5 as well as all extracts. Also provided are extracts zooming in on each question.
