These useful RWI inspired stickers can be used when teaching Set 2 RWI sounds. They can be used as a reminder to the child and parent of what sound has been taught during that day. Plus a reward that can be given to each child to show that they have been successful during the lesson.
This product is also useful for the teacher or teaching assistant to see what sound each child had been learning during their phonic lesson, if they’d been to a different member of staff. It’s a quick visual prompt that can be used to test them throughout the day, and target during ‘pinny time’.

For children learning the phase 2 tricky words this product is ideal. Children colour the tricky words the same as the coloured words at the top. It is good to encourage children to say the word they have found whilst colouring it so it is embedded.
Understanding the parts of the human body is an important thing for children to learn. Singing songs like ‘Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes’ is a good start, as well as lots of games like ‘Simon said’, will help consolidate children’s.
This product can be used to check children’s understanding of the different parts of the human body. It is bright and colourful and consists of two sheets. The fist having words to assist the child and the other excluding words.
Topic – Toys
Children love to investigate items, so why not encourage them to investigate materials toys are made from. This resource is a great tool to encourage children to develop their speaking and listening skills. It gives them opportunities to look at, touch and talk about different toys and what materials they think they are made from. It creates great social opportunities, and allows you as a teacher to develop their language skills, and understanding of different textures and materials.
There are three different sheets for the children to record their findings. You could also add observations of the children’s discussions to show their understanding.
This 4 page resource consists of the tricky words found in phase 2-5.
This activity can be sent home for children to practice reading each phase. Once they know the word they can colour. It can be used as an assessment tool to show words children know.
Each phase is coloured a different colour so it’s easy to follow.
Linked to the story ‘Whatever Next’, by Gill Murphy, this product is a great activity to encourage your pupils to think about what they might take with them if they were to get aboard a space rocket and fly to the moon.
