I am passionate about learning that is tailored to children's interests and gives lots of opportunity for children to be creative and critical thinkers. I think it's important that learning materials cater to a variety of learning styles and I try to make my resources have real-world applications whenever possible. These resources will not only engage your learners, but they'll save you time, so that you can focus on doing what you do best.

Kids love mazes, so this resource pack of mazes is a great way to tap into their determination to escape the maze, by calculating the area of rectangles and squares in order to move through the maze to the finish.
Easily differentiate with four mazes to choose from:
Calculate the area using square units (includes triangular half-squares) – option A has two possible answers to choose from (best for weaker students), option B has three or more possible answers (good for stronger students)
Calculate the area of rectangles and squares using cm and m – option A has two possible answers to choose from, option B has three or more possible answers
Calculate the area of irregular shapes
Calculate the area of rectangles and squares with one side length and the perimeter as the clues (great for those needing a challenge)
All measurements are whole numbers.
Answer keys are included, plus U.K. and U.S. versions.
I hope your students enjoy solving their mazes!
You will receive 2 PDFS (not editable). If you have any trouble with downloading, please email me at info@zigglelearning.com.
