Knights and Castles - Castle Provision - Rainbow Challenges - KS1 With the National Curriculum in mind, I’ve meticulously designed a series of engaging castle-themed Rainbow Challenges, specially tailored for Year 1 students. These challenges aim to spark children’s curiosity about castles while helping them develop various skills in a fun and interactive way. Children will dive into the world of castles through activities such as construction, junk modelling, drawing, and writing. They will build their own castles, create models using recycled materials, draw pictures of knights and castles, and even write an invitation to a knight.
