Great for home learning. This PowerPoint introduces pupils to 20 zoo/ wild animals. The animals can be practised via pictures and then are followed with a listening activity. There is a word document that can be used for pupils to complete with the PowerPoint. There are anagrams of the words and a match up activity. The plurals for the animals are introduced and then adjectives to describe them. There are translation exercises, a speaking task and reading comprehensions. Different animal habitats are introduced and then matched to different animals. There are also snake sentences to unjumble and write out. By the end of the PowerPoint (78 slides) pupils should be able to confidently speak/ write about these animals.

This is a set of resources to introduce and practice 27 classroom instructions and phrases. The PowerPoint initially 12 classroom instructions with practice exercises and then goes on to introduce and practice a further 15. The resource is easily adaptable if you want to introduce less. There are various activities on the PowerPoint and on an accompanying worksheet. The activities include speaking practice and repetition, match-ups, gap-fills, and a listening comprehension. Pupils will gain a good knowledge of these classroom phrases, and will be able to recognise and use them in the classroom.

There are four lengthy PowerPoints which will certainly take several lessons in order for pupils to understand and successfully form the perfect tense of avoir verbs, both regular and irregular; all ere verbs; reflexive verbs and verbs in the negative. The PowerPoints can be used for pupils to use or copy to form accurate grammar/ resource notes in their books, which they can then refer back to when working individually to form the past tense. On each Powerpoint there are lots of exercises for pupils to complete to check comprehension. There are translation exercises, in line with the new GCSE specifications. There are also many more worksheets with exercises that could be used as class or homework and will indicate the pupils' ability to understand and form this tense. This is a tried and tested method.

This resource is for KS3 students, based on the GCSE Theme 1 Topic ‘Self, family and friends’ (or for foundation level KS4 students). The booklet contains a whole range of reading, writing and speaking exercises, similar to those that students could face at GCSE. The student booklet is a 29-page document, broken down into six sub-topics and each sub-topic has 10 exercises to complete. The sub-topics are: all about me; my family; physical descriptions; characteristics; pets and a revision of all topics. The activities include true/false, comprehension questions, translation exercises into English and French, match-ups, writing activities based on given photos, individual writing tasks, gap-fills, multiple choice and speaking activities.
