Write About My Street The child uses the mural that Mrs Barker’s class made to make a map of their area. The child is asked to complete the sentences to describe their own area. They then complete the sentences to describe their street and neighbourhood. Write A Story Called ‘Camping Out On A Summers Night’ Read the poem (written in rhyming couplets). Write the story about the day Isaac and Josh camped out at night. Describe Places Adding Details To Create Settings The child is asked to describe a place. They are shown how to add little details to build up the setting, to help the reader picture the place in his or her mind.
