As an IBDP Assistant Examiner with 27 years experience teaching IB Diploma Biology and IB MYP Science, I have created multiple resources which I am uploading to TpT now: Standard Level and Higher Level IB Biology lessons and presentations, required practicals, as well as entire units and unit plans.
28 NO-PREP two-minute Brain Breaks you can use as back to school ice breakers, energizers, mindfulness breaks, movement breaks etc. in Middle School and High School, or Upper Elementary. Project the PowerPoint and click on the built-in spinner to select a random Brain Break. Help students refocus and relax, as well as get to know each other and have fun! Great as a classroom management tool and a way to build community, as well as increase student wellbeing.
Use in any class, for any subject - the Brain Breaks contain a range of activities linked to many subjects. When your students appear tired and lacking in focus, just take a two-minute break to get them ready to learn again.

Created by an IB Assistant Examiner, this Guided Experiment / Lab Guide includes everything you and your students need for completing the IB Required Practical 4: Chromatography (Separation of photosynthetic pigments by chromatograph).
IBDP Biology Teachers can use this Guided Investigation to support students as they:
Organise the equipment and materials needed to separate plant photosynthetic pigments.
Conduct a plant chromatography experiment to produce a chromatogram.
Use their chromatogram to calculate the retardation factor for each pigment (Rf).
Use the calculated Rf factor and the included table to identify the pigments in the leaves of the plant.
Also suitable for other curriculum programs - any kind of High School Biology course that focuses on scientific inquiry, such as AP Biology or Honors Biology.
