A simple dialogue between un lapin et un poussin. Revises: introductions/name/age/opinions/adjectives. This activity could be used in several ways. Pair work for straight forward reading of dialogue. I have included a worksheet with blanks for more able children to fill in. Older children could create their own dialoge between the two animals. Or the picture could be used for children to talk about and then to write out sentences which descride something in the picture which would incorporate prepositions. Please take a minute to comment. Board games using reflexive verbs to describe your daily routine. Times have also been added, so as to revise 'À Quel heure...?' Please see worksheet for rules as these differ from the regular snakes and ladders game. Playing any game is a fun way to practice and reinforce new vocabulary. The second game is based on the game show Blockbusters where the aim is to complete a line of 5 connecting hexagonal shapes either from side to side or from top to bottom. Students have to name the reflexive verb with a subject or a time or both to gain control of the shape. Both games can be used for any foreign language. Playing lotto is a fun way to practise and reinforce the names of animals in French. Could also be used in early years and for any foreign language. I split my children into small groups and they each take turn at being the 'teacher&'. They love calling out &';Qui a un chat?' &'Qui a une vache?&'; To win the card the reply is 'J&'ai un chat&';, 'J&'ai une vache&';.
