Interactive, multiple choice exercise practising a range of regular and irregular past participles. There are 65 verbs embedded in the file and the file will create a new quiz of 20 verbs selected at random each time the exercise is opened.
An extended text describing and analysing key decision points for the main characters in Das Leben der Anderen, followed by a summary exercise which should help students gain an overview of cause and effect and provide a useful tool for revision.
To create this text I have edited down a more complex analysis of Wiesler and Sieland found on wedding-music-and-more.de and interwoven additional material on Dreyman written by Isabella Langheim. I made up the summary task.
Three activities relating to jobs and professions, pitched at Foundation Level students. 1 Students match jobs to short clues about those jobs. 2 Students identify key chunks of language from the first eexrcise. 3 Students usea toolkit to generate short descriptions of other jobs.
Short texts in which teenagers describe the situations in which they get in to trouble. The grammatical focus is on Wenn-Sätze. Pupils also have to indentify and record a number of Wenn-Sätze from the text and generate new Wenn-Sätze using a toolkit.
A bit of old-fashioned grammar. The sheet presents the Present Tense paradigms of lieben, hassen and mögen, gives guidance about 'don't like' and 'don't like any' and then provides twenty sentences in English to translate into German. All the sentences relate to the topic of TV.
Chat show interview in which Rudolf the red-nosed reindeer is interviewed about how he gets on with Santa, Mrs Nicholas and the other reindeer. Lots of practice of 'Ich verstehe mich gut mit&' and adjectives for describing personality.
Interactive drag and drop game focussing on adverbs of time. The game contains thirty adverbs / adverbial phrases but will randomly select ten each time it is opened and arrange them in random order. Should never quite be the same exercise twice. Will work on IW or PC.
